Beauty through nature. Farm to skin.
We are inspired by the natural beauty of the Colombian Amazon, with an objective to create face, body and home care products of exquisite quality with only the finest raw ingredients.
Working with family run farms in rural Colombia, our ingredients are grown through biodynamic gardening processes and wild harvested. Meet the three family farms behind Florivera's ingredients.
Experimental organic farm on a mountainside just outside of Bogota, Colombia. Here they grow a number of essential oils, and chemist Francisco is always adjusting their growing patterns around the farm based on climate changes due to global warming. A lot was taken away from the experience at Aurora's Farm. We exchanged stories of family, passion, loss and determination. This farm is where our champion ingredient is grown. Calendula - the most healing, anti-inflammatory, antiviral herbs on the planet. Nicolas, pictured below tends to the Calendula crops every season, rain or shine.
The Citronella Farm
Deep in the Colombian Jungle, we were welcomed by families and groups of displaced people, all whom work for and call the citronella farm home. This group was eager to meet with us as they've recently been faced with the challenges of large petroleum corporations wanting to purchase their land. Our aim is to support these farms in the hope of preventing them from being forced off their land.
Our farmers have passed down their skills and hard work through generations. Our products are filled entirely with their extracts, all design to nourish, heal & hydrate the skin while providing exceptional results.
Florivera was established in 2010. We are headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and all of our products are made in Canada.
Our philosophy respects nature's offerings as the best and most potent solutions for beauty and holistic wellness.
